Estate Golden Retrievers is dedicated to producing purebred golden retrievers that are healthy and full of vitality. Close attention is focused on ensuring that the dams and sires of litters are of premier quality; verification is based on maternal and paternal verification of health with medical checks for hips, elbows, cardiac system and eye exams. Litters are planned with a focus on show qualities, temperment and overarching personality with puppies raised in a farm-home environment.

Estate Golden Retrievers confirms the genetic health of each dog used as a sire or dam, as well as testing each puppy. Golden Retrievers are available in Cream, Dark Golden (Dark to Red) and the traditional Golden shades. Lineage of the puppies can be traced back to both European and American bloodlines which have produced International Champions. AKC registration is available.

Golden Retrievers are well-known to be loyal dogs that are gentle, playful and intelligent. Each Estate Golden Retriever will blend into your home environment and become a member of your family. We are located in West Central Illinois and are approximately 40 minutes West of Peoria, IL and south of the Quad Cities (Davenport, IA/ Moline, IL/ Rock Island, IL/ Bettendorf, IA).

What deposit is necessary in order to reserve your puppy?

A $500 deposit is required to reserve a puppy. Although puppies will be limitedly available without a deposit (until those pups are all purchased) you can guarantee your puppy is available and the deposit will apply to the total purchase price. Puppies are available at a starting price of $1750 with future breeders (with AKA rights) selling at $2500- $3200. Remember, the parents of these great pups have been fully health-checked and DNA checked with no faults noted by testing facilities. In case of a failed litter your deposit will be refunded or you may apply the deposit to the next litter.

What genetics tests have been performed on the Sires & Dams?

A full battery of genetics tests by Embark and by Animal Genetics have been performed that show indicators for most common genetics concerns of dogs, in general, and specifically for the maladies which have been most often seen in Golden Retrievers.

What healthcare has been provided for my puppy?

Each puppy has been dewormed, given its first immunization for distemper, and it has had a full health check by a practicing Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). Additionally, the puppy's dew claws have been removed to prevent injury later in life.

Is there a health guarantee offered by Estate Golden Retrievers?

Puppies are guaranteed to be healthy, so long as proof of continuing veterinary care is available and that dietary requirements are met by continuing to feed Royal Canin Puppy Food and Royal Canin Adult food, and through prudent and reasonable care. This general guarantee of health is valid for 6 months and is voided by accident or ingestion of poison or objects not safe to be in the environment of the puppy. Puppies are guaranteed free of genetic issues too frequently found in Goldens, such as hip, elbow, cardiac or eye issues. Estate Golden Retrievers are warranted to be free of genetic defect for a period of five years.
